Activation

Each computer is activated once, with a short code. No passwords.

1. Open the extynt panel. On a new computer it offers Start free trial (7 days, no card) or I have a license · Sign in, and shows a code.
2. Go to extynt.com/activate and sign in with your email. Beta testers use the email they applied with. We send you a sign-in link.
3. Enter the code from the panel and confirm that this is your computer.
4. The panel detects the activation on its own.

Your computers

Your account page lists the computers you have activated, with the hostname each one reported. A computer is identified by a one-way hash of its machine ID, never by the ID itself. Signing in again on the same computer reuses its place.

The 3-computer limit

One license works on up to 3 computers at a time. If you sign in on a fourth, the panel lists your computers and lets you remove one to make room.

To free a place yourself, open your account page and choose Remove next to a computer you no longer use. You can activate another in its place straight away. The removed computer is signed out the next time it checks in with extynt.com, usually within a few days. Its projects are not touched. Signing out in the panel also frees that computer’s place.

Staying signed in

extynt renews your license in the background while you are online. If a computer is offline for more than 7 days, sign in again when it is back online.
