Your project, your machine, your rules.

extynt doesn't collect your projects, prompts or usage. That is not the same as nothing leaving your computer: you bring your own model, and it has to see what it works on. Below is everything the website stores and everything the app sends, and nothing is left out.

What we store

  • Your email address. Sign-in is by emailed link only; there are no passwords.
  • For each computer you activate: a one-way hash of its machine ID (never the ID itself), its hostname, its platform (macOS or Windows), when it was first added, when it was last seen, and when it was removed, if it was.
  • Your license state: plan, trial start and end dates (and the hash of the computer that started the trial), whether you are one of the 50 beta founders, and any roles on your account.
  • Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. extynt never sees your card details and only records that a license is active or refunded.
  • Beta application answers, only until the application is reviewed (see below).

What is deleted within 24 hours

  • Rate-limit keys, which are one-way hashes of IP addresses with a counter. We never store the address itself.
  • Sign-in codes and device codes, including the hostname and machine ID hash that came with them, and used or expired sign-in link tokens and sessions.

The beta application

To review an application we need what you type: name, email, After Effects version(s), operating system, what you make and an optional portfolio link. These answers are deleted as soon as the application is approved or declined. If you are approved, only your email carries over to your account.

What leaves your computer

  • To your model provider. Your requests and the project context the model needs (layer and property names, values, frames you attach or capture) go to the provider you chose, directly from a sidecar on your machine, using your key. Its terms govern what happens next. With a local model such as Ollama they stay on your computer. If web search is on, search queries go to the same provider.
  • To extynt.com. Sign-in, license checks and refreshes, and managing your computers. These carry your license token, the machine ID (the site stores only a hash), computer name, platform and app version.
  • A problem report, only if you press Send. You see what it carries first, or it opens as an email you send yourself.
  • With Claude, Codex or another MCP client, the conversation stays in that client and goes to that client's provider. extynt's service listens on your computer only.

The app has no analytics or telemetry, and your model key stays on your computer.

Who handles it

The site is hosted on Vercel, data is held in a Neon Postgres database, and sign-in emails are sent through Resend. Vercel keeps standard request logs for a short period; we do not export or keep them. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Cookies

The only cookie is the session cookie set when you sign in. No analytics, no advertising trackers.

Deletion

Email privacy@extynt.com or reply to any email we sent you, and we will delete your account and everything listed above.
