Introduction

extynt is an AI agent for After Effects with no script tool. The model picks from 83 kinds of edit, such as adding an effect, setting a control or keyframing a property. Each one works on any effect or layer you have, so 83 is not a limit on effects. The plan is checked against your open project before it runs, and the result is read back afterwards.

Use the extynt panel inside After Effects, or point Claude, Codex or another MCP client at the same tools. Plans, checks and undo are identical either way. Reference images and long runs are panel features.

What you will see

  • A chat panel docked in After Effects. It works on the comp you have open.
  • Plan cards that list each change before anything is touched.
  • A verdict on each change: done and checked, or exactly what could not be checked.
  • A receipt for each plan, and an undo that covers only that plan.
  • A model and reasoning picker for the provider and key you bring.

Good to know

  • extynt is in closed beta. Features change often and these pages can lag behind.
  • extynt is bring-your-own-model. Your prompts and the project context the model needs go to the provider you choose. extynt does not collect them. See privacy.
