using the panel
Undo and receipts
Undo works per plan. Each plan also leaves a receipt.
Undo a plan
Press Undo on the plan card. extynt reverts the plan and checks that the project matches how it was before. A plan is one named step in After Effects’ own history too, so Edit › Undo works as well.
Long plans
Big plans apply in steps of up to 25 operations. Undo on the card takes back every step. To take back only the newest step, open the card’s ⋯ menu and choose Undo only the last step. After Effects Undo takes back one step per press.
When Undo is not offered
Undo on a card always takes back the newest change first. When that would take back something else too, the card shows a line in place of the button that says why:
- You edited the project after the plan applied. Use Edit › Undo to step back yourself, or ask extynt to revert.
- A later extynt plan sits on top. Undo that plan first.
Receipts
Open the checklist on a finished card, for example 5 changes ✓, to see each change, its target and what the check found. ⋯ › Copy receipt copies the full receipt. MCP clients read the same receipt, so you and your AI read the same result.
