Your first change

Send one request, read the plan, then undo it.

1. Open a composition. extynt works on the comp you have open unless you ask otherwise.
2. Type a request in the box at the bottom of the panel, for example “fade these out over the last 12 frames”, and press Enter. Shift+Enter adds a new line.
3. The line above the box shows the current step.
4. A plan card appears listing each change. Changes you can undo apply right away. Deletes, renders and imports wait for you to press Apply. You can change this in Settings › Behaviour › Ask before applying.
5. The card ends with a verdict, such as Done · checked, and a checklist of each change you can open.
6. Not what you wanted? Press Undo on the card, or use After Effects’ own Undo.

Things to try

• What can you do in After Effects?
• Add a drop shadow and a soft glow to the selected layers.
• Add a title card that fades up over 12 frames.
• Find every expression that is throwing an error.

Stopping

While extynt works, Send becomes Stop. You can also keep typing: pressing Enter adds your message to the work in progress. Anything already applied stays applied and keeps its own undo.
